What is Invokana?
Invokana, also referred to as canagliflozin, is a relatively new drug designed for the treatment of Type-2 diabetes. Combined with proper diet and exercise the medication is intended to lower patient blood sugar. Invokana is classified as an SGLT2 (sodium-glucose cotransporter-2) inhibitors.
